Community Cyanotype Play
Join Rosalba Breazeale for backyard community cyanotype printing! Bring your own paper or plant-plant based fabric (no synthetics) and objects to make prints with. Objects can be plant material (flowers, leaves, seaweed), glass objects or other translucent materials etc. Please do not bring invasive plant materials.
Cyanotype solution and brushes will be provided, but feel free to bring your own. A limited supply of watercolor paper will be provided for those who need it. Foraged plant material, stencils and misc. objects will be available as well.
This is not a workshop, but an invitation to hang out and print together! This is a free event, but if you want to throw me a couple bucks toward supplies, I won’t say no! There is no RSVP required, but it will help me plan if you have a sec. to do so.
Water and non-alc seltzers will be available.

A Place to Breathe (BIPOC Only)
A Place to Breathe is a gathering of BIPOC creatives that meets on the 1st Thursday of each month from 6pm-8pm at 205 Ocean Avenue. Join Tender Table organizer and artist, Verónica Pérez, and 205 Ocean Ave Studios director and artist, Rosalba Breazeale to take a couple hours to breathe, relax and be in community.
Summer gatherings will be held outside in the backyard when weather permits. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages will be provided.
Cyanotype and Solarfast Dye Workshop by Rosalba Breazeale in collaboration with Triflorum Designs
Join 205 Ocean Ave Studio members, Rosalba Breazeale and Julia Lipner of Triflorum Designs, for an immersive four-hour Cyanotype and Solarfast photogram printing workshop.
Earth Week Celebration: Anthotype Printing
Join artist, Rosalba Breazeale, for a two-hour Anthotype printing workshop to celebrate Earth Day! This in-person workshop will take place Sunday, April 19th from 2pm-4pm at 205 Ocean Avenue in Portland, ME.
The Space Betweeen the Stars exhibition by verónica a. pérez & mini winter market
205 Ocean Avenue Studio presents: the space between the stars, new works by verónica a. pérez, with opening reception and mini-market featuring 205 resident artists.
Julia of Triflorum Designs will be offering festive holiday wreaths in a range of sizes, as well as potted bulbs/plants, kokedamas and other botanical decor. Dilettante Fiber will have hand spun and hand-dyed yarns, as well as repaired + upcycled garments available. Rosalba Breazeale will have a limited selection of unique chemigram prints for sale.
Come view art and sip on some hot chocolate from our hot chocolate bar complete with all the fixings while you peruse the market!
Open Studios
Come check out the studios of resident artists Rosalba Breazeale, Carina Cilluffo, Julia Lipner, and Ashley Page! Enjoy free food, beverage and a tour of the building!
